Individual work (filming)
Hey!! This blog is going to be about one thing that my group mates and I could've done individually. More specifically, our filming. There are some parts of the music video that only have one person from the group in them. The individual shots worked better with the lyrics and what they meant. These individual shots allowed for a deeper connection between the viewer and the performer, as the lyrics were portrayed more authentically. Additionally, it showcased the unique personalities and talents of each group member, allowing them to shine individually. While filming collectively would have showcased our teamwork, the decision to include individual shots added a captivating and personal touch to our music video. For example, in the party scene of our music video, I could've recorded it at home with my family instead of waiting to do it with my group mates. I say this because there are only 3 people in my group, and it wouldn't be authentic with just the 3 of us acting like it's a party. My family is really big, so if I were to use them, it would've been more realistic. Aurum could’ve recorded the first scene at home. It's just the scenes of him in a car talking on the phone. This would have saved us time and resources as we wouldn't have needed to rent a car or find a suitable location for filming. It would've also helped with making it look like Aurum is rich. Aurum's showcasing different cars in the scenes gives him the ability to afford multiple luxury cars would have enhanced the perception that he's rich. Suse could've recorded the walking in and everyone looking at her. The scene is really simple she just need to set her phone up with some family members sitting with their back facing the camera. Then she just have to walk in and have everyone looking at her. Creating the feeling of anticipation as she confidently walked in and all eyes turned towards her.
